Bad times and very tired............Been going through some really heavy, head hurting shit these last months and have become depressed, unmotivated, angry and sad.
So much so that I just cannot cope with all the responsibility I have here on d/a.
IF it wasn't for my dear friend Ans (who is basically keeping almost all my Groups going + my other wonderful Staff) I would have left for a LONG rest. and said 'to hell with it all.'
I am HOPING that Ans will take-over the running of: love-new-artists
I am HOPING Inayat will return to take over the 'reins' of Nine-Muses.
I am HOPING someone will offer to take: PhotoSeries and make it into a better Group than it is now?
Because I 'talk' too much, honestly and openly (in notes and on Journals) I have been subjected to 'minor' abuse, people NOT reading properly what I write and so many questions.
I have many dear friends who are SO supportive and I have many friends who are very needy.

Meet tanikel - our very own Photojournalism Community Volunteer. She's usually known as 'Lucky' although her name is Kristina Truluck and she has been a Combat Documentation/Production Specialist (better known as Combat Camera) for the U.S Army for just over six years. With an amazing array of experiences behind her, please enjoy this interview and get to know tanikel and her favoured gallery better.
I spent a year in Afghanistan photographing and filming combat itself, Afghan life in the villages, interrogations, and the dorks that make up the Army’s fighting force.
Now I teach the photography part of the Combat Camera military occupational speciality, concentrating on captions (I can’t stress how important this is for the job!), ethics, air/ground accidents, and combat documentation itself. It’s pretty amazing watching my students go from people
